After the chefs made a commissary run for today's groceries (because starvation is ALWAYS a concern at these reunions...), there have been
assorted activities to pass the time while we wait. Of course, there has already been a game of euchre. The John Deere puzzle was
quickly finished, but the 9 square puzzle is still being worked on. The pad of paper and mathematical figures have been thrown around with it, and it's still not done. Aunt D, Cousin RD, Gilligan, and I took a
leisurely walk up the beach. A rousing game of Life is currently being played, while Gpa is playing solitaire. 
The older crew members were able to catch up on their journal writing, so that's terrific.

Tonight's dinner is all South Carolina: Shrimp and Grits and Beaufort Stew, with collards on the side. We'll see how many days I eat collards for lunch...
